Balbillus Method:
The method of Balbillus is very similar to the 129 year system, except that the periods are reduced by it's circular period in days for each degree that a planet is from its exaltation degree. For example, if the Sun is at 21 degrees Aries, then it is 2 degrees away from its exaltation. Since its period is 19 years if in exaltation, the Sun at 21 Aries would receive 19 years - 2 * 19 days (38 days). If a planet is in it's fall, this would mean that it would receive 1/2 of its circular period.
Schmidt has said that the 129 year system is probably an idealized version of this system.
