Software Installation Instructions

Installing Delphic Oracle Installing Delphic Oracle for Win XP/Me/00/NT4/98/95:

  1. Unzip delphicoracle.zip and extract all the files to a temporary directory. This is made easier with the WinZip program.
  2. Click on setup.exe from within WinZip or click Start | Run and browse to the directory where you extracted the files and select setup.exe.
  3. Follow the on screen instructions. Install Shield will guide you through the setup process with its automated wizard.

System Requirements System requirements:

Needs a pentium class CPU of at least 100 MHz or better, Windows XP/Me/00/NT4/98/95: at least 32 Mb Ram (64 Mb recommended) and 50 Mb free space on the HD (Swiss Ephemeris uses about 35 MB) and a mouse or other pointing device.

Installing Timaeus Installing Timaeus for Win 9x/00/Me/NT4/XP:

  1. Unzip timaeus.zip and extract all the files to a temporary directory. This is made easier with the WinZip program.
  2. Click on setup.exe from within WinZip or click Start | Run and browse to the directory where you extracted the files and select setup.exe.
  3. Follow the on screen instructions. Install Shield will guide you through the setup process with its automated wizard.

Geographic Location and Time Zone Settings Geographic Location and Time Zone Settings:

When installed, make sure you click the settings tab and enter your correct geographical location and time zone settings. If you do not know your location, try to look it up online. For extended notes on Timaeus, including other important settings, see the Readme file.

Needs Windows XP/Me/00/98/95/NT4: at least 16 Mb Ram and 10 Mb free space on the HD.

Installing Swiss Ephemeris stand alone files Installing Swiss Ephemeris for Win 9x/00/Me/NT4/XP: (for those who buy the full version of Delphic Oracle)

  1. Make sure you have the WinZip program. After downloading, click on the file. You will see a group of files (if using winzip classic). It is important to keep the default directory settings if you wish to avoid having to reset the path to the directory of installation in the main program options of Delphic Oracle.
  2. Click on setup.exe from within WinZip or if you extracted the files, click Start | Run and browse to the directory where you extracted the files and select setup.exe.
  3. Follow the on screen instructions. Install Shield will guide you through the setup process with its automated wizard.
