I'm one of the few Americans willing to put his true thoughts out there. So many people are speechless, but not thoughtless. What's on your mind these days, and what are the drums telling you?
People want blood for blood these days. However I am not a member of this brand of thinking with regards to the tragic terrorist attack on 9/11/01. Taking into account the lives lost, and the fear which still grips America, the tragic events which took place on September 11, 2001, have placed Americans in a vacuum of shock, fear, grief, and anger. The mass hysteria surrounding the recent anthrax attacks has diminished what little chance the American people had to catch their breath.
Anthrax: We don't know who it is? But the media is telling us where it is!
The Americans are extremely terrified of the things to come. The American people need to catch up to the actions of their leaders, here and abroad via America's attack on terrorism, and evil throughout the world. Afghanistan, remains our primary military focus for now. Iraq and other nations around the world are beginning to feel they are next. This is what our leaders seem to be telling us.
We should be very cautious at this level. The stakes are so high at this juncture. The American people wanted blood for blood. Now the consequences are too unspeakable to contemplate. Thus the silence, and tension. We do not have the luxury or the time for this kind of thinking.
If the terrorist goals were to frighten the American people out of their wits, then I must say they have accomplished their goal. The American people are so terrified they can't even think. So all we have left is to follow the lead. A wise man once said, blind faith can not lead thee.
You can take down an adversary without using a fist or cannon. Make your enemies take themselves out or have those within their own ranks do it for you.
What do they mean we didn't see this coming? Why were our foreign policies so out of whack with regards to the Middle East?
The first attack on the W.T.C. building made it clear. The protesting of the World Trade Organization's meetings also told us that. Public protests from Seattle, Washington to countries throughout Europe spoke volumes. There was wide spread opposition to its formation, and the possible consequences resulting from it, by those who feared, and opposed the W.T.O.
Millions have died throughout the countries of Africa due to famine, disease, and war. Allow me to name one of these countries ravaged by the two dogs of war; the Sudan. America had no reason to put a workable policy together containing food, doctors and medicines backed up by a "United Coalition-Armed Forces". You must first hammer out a policy for countries like the Sudan. Then putting a United Coalition Force into these places long before the September 11 tragedy even happened, would have been more effective.
Muslims were killing African Christians, and African animist. Not a word or shot was fired in their defense. America had no real interest in these African countries, and other countries with similar situations, i.e. Asia.
So there was no other way out for us?
We had other concerns, and problems that were finally on the front burner. Those issues are now off the stove completely, and gone forever. Americans, we have never been so close.
Racial profiling, social security, hunger, economic plans, foreign policy, domestic policy, and did I mention racism?
I was watching the president's address to our nation a couple of days ago. He told Americans to watch out for anything suspicious, i.e. people. One of the reporters asked the president what did he mean by suspicious. He replied, "if you see someone on a big wheat harvester, and that person does not look like a farmer, that would be strange wouldn't it?", laughing as he answered the question. Well, black people have always looked strange to white Americans. The president quickly said, "This does not mean harassing people, who might not share your same religious beliefs, or might look different than you do". Who might even be black? Yeah! Black!
I mentioned this before concerning blacks who had changed their names. Those who chose Muslim sounding names would find themselves under attack after the events of September 11, 2001 in New York City. If they have not legally changed their names by now to Muslim sounding sur names, i.e. Abdullah, they had better get used to being called Jackson, Johnson, and Jones. Can you dig that? 1971 John Shaft Style.
Whites are right back to clutching their purses again whenever a black person gets within a certain perimeter. Racism is still here, and not going anywhere. Sorry, back to the point I was making.
Back to the attack on evil, and terrorism. You can't kill terror, or satan in this way. So drop all the bombs you want my fellow Americans. So much for the nation coming together. Look! At the end of the day, there will just be the Lord's people standing anyway. The Bible reads as follows, everyone that says Lord, Lord, are not of me!
Enough. I'm tired; let someone else step up to plate.
Peace,
Felix
