Sarah has always had an inquisitive, penetrating mind that is necessary for understanding the language of Astrology. As a young girl, Sarah would wake up each morning and read the newspaper with her Grandmother. They would do crosswords, word searches, and read the comics. But then, there were the horoscopes. Sarah would wonder and inquire, she would ask, "Grandma, what is a Virgo?" and Grandma would answer, "Well you look at the day you were born and that is what you are." This answer was frustrating and was never good enough for Sarah, in her mind it didn't make sense, she knew there was more. As a young girl, Sarah had a mission. She would find out why she was a Virgo no matter how long it would take.
The quest for the answer was revived when Sarah was a teenager. She found an astrology book at a friend's house. Immediately fascinated and determined to find the answers she had always yearned for as a young girl, Sarah read every book she could get her hands on. When she learned that the Sun was in a constellation of stars known as Virgo, she also learned about the Moon and all of the planetary meanings. Then, she rediscovered that same wonder and awe she felt as a child, however, this time the addiction would never fade.
Sarah now has more than 15 years of experience with this fascinating art of Astrology. She has been practicing professionally since 2000. Sarah was the house astrologer at The Blu Wolf in Tacoma Washington and is now working with Sisters Of The Air in Edgewood, Washington and The Candle Boutique in the Commons Mall in Federal Way, Washington. She is teaching beginning to advanced astrology courses at both locations. Sarah Svati integrates a variety of techniques into her readings depending on the situation of the client.
