Jupiter in Ninth House

JupiterJupiter: If Jupiter is lord of the 9th, or is in the 9th, and is received or dignified and in sect, the native is born with great faith and is fortunate in higher education and travel. Very often the natives perspective is broad, and they become mystics, gurus, teachers, lawyers, judges, poets, actors and sometimes even politicians. (Gauquelin found that Jupiter was prominent in this area in the charts of actors and politicians.) Here the warmth and wetness (sanguine) nature of Jupiter helps keep the native connected to the divine on a daily basis. But if Jupiter is out of sect, the native does not live by faith alone in religious matters. Doubt about ones direction in life is common, and there is often a lack of committment to any particular goal. The path then becomes obscure and the native finds unorthodox paths to the divine. If Jupiter is afflicted or in debility, then there is a lack of perspective, intemperance, and an all or nothing attitude in the pursuit of dreams. This can of course lead to legal trouble if taken too far.
